Wellton Hospital Named Official Designated Hospital of the Korea Alpine Federation

Wellton Hospital has been officially designated as the partner hospital of the Korea Alpine Federation (KAF), following a formal agreement signed by the two organizations and announced on September 4.
A Medical Partner for Korea's Climbers
Under the agreement, Wellton Hospital — led by Director Dr. Song Sang-ho — will serve as the Federation's official medical partner, providing healthcare services to national team athletes, registered competitors, and Federation staff.
The scope of the partnership goes beyond treatment. Both organizations have committed to working together on injury prevention, clinical care, and ongoing health management, building a medical support system dedicated to keeping athletes healthy, safe, and performing at their best.

The Korea Alpine Federation and Wellton Hospital also plan to continue their collaboration in support of the development of sport climbing and ice climbing in Korea — disciplines that place exceptional demands on the joints, tendons, and musculoskeletal system.
As a hospital specializing in joint care, Wellton is well positioned to bring its clinical expertise to athletes whose sport depends on strong, resilient joints — from fingers and shoulders on the wall to hips and knees on the descent.
